Right of Modification

We reserve the right to change or modify the Terms and Conditions at our sole discretion at any time. Any change or modification to the Terms will be effective immediately upon posting by us. For any material changes to the Terms and Conditions, we will take reasonable steps to notify you of such changes. In all cases, your continued use of the Sites after publication of such modifications, with or without notification, constitutes binding acceptance of these modified Terms and Conditions.

User Accounts

In order to fully participate in all Site activities, you must register for a personal account on the Site (a “User Account”) by providing an email address and a password for your User Account. You agree that you will never divulge or share access or access information to your User Account with any third party for any reason. You also agree to that you will create, use, and access only one User Account, and that you will not access the Site using multiple User Accounts.

In setting up your User Account, you may be prompted or required to enter additional information, including but not limited to your name and location. Additional information may be required to confirm your identity. You represent that all information provided by you is accurate, current and complete and you agree that you will maintain and update your information to keep it accurate, current and complete. You acknowledge that if any information provided by you is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we reserve the right to terminate your use of the Sites.

Prohibited Conduct.


  1. use the Website or any related services for any commercial use or purpose unless expressly permitted by knowledge.tt in writing, it being understood that the Website and related services are intended for personal, non-commercial use only;
  2. use the Website for any purposes other than to disseminate or receive original or appropriately licensed content and/or to access the Website as such services are offered by knowledge.tt;
  3. post, upload, or distribute any defamatory, libelous, or inaccurate User Content or other content;
  4. post, upload, or distribute any User Content or other content that is unlawful or that a reasonable person could deem to be objectionable, offensive, indecent, pornographic, harassing, threatening, embarrassing, distressing, vulgar, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise inappropriate;
  5. impersonate any person or entity, falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity, or access the Website accounts of others without permission, forge another person’s digital signature, misrepresent the source, identity, or content of information transmitted via the Website, or perform any other similar fraudulent activity;
  6. delete the copyright or other proprietary rights notices on the Website, Licensed Educational Content or User Content;
  7. assert, or authorize, assist, or encourage any third party to assert, against knowledge.tt or any of its affiliates or licensors, any patent infringement or other intellectual property infringement claim regarding any Licensed Educational Content, Licensed Educational Code, or User Content You have used, submitted, or otherwise made available on or through the Website;
  8. make unsolicited offers, advertisements, proposals, or send junk mail or spam to other Users of the Website. This includes, but is not limited to, unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or other solicitation material, bulk mailing of commercial advertising, chain mail, informational announcements, charity requests, and petitions for signatures;
  9. use the Website for any illegal purpose, or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law, including, without limitation, laws governing intellectual property and other proprietary rights, and data protection and privacy;
  10. defame, harass, abuse, threaten or defraud Users of the Website, or collect, or attempt to collect, personal information about Users or third parties without their consent;
  11. reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Website or any part thereof, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation;
  12. intentionally interfere with or damage operation of the Website or any user’s enjoyment of it, by any means, including uploading or otherwise disseminating viruses, adware, spyware, worms, or other malicious code.

Privacy Policy

You understand that any personal information you submit to knowledge.tt on the Sites will be treated by knowledge.tt in the manner described in the Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Sites, Products and Services; Links.

The Website may include links or references to other web sites or services solely as a convenience to Users (“Reference Sites”). Knowledge.tt does not endorse any such Reference Sites or the information, materials, products, or services contained on or accessible through Reference Sites. In addition, your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers found on or through the Website are solely between You and such advertiser. Access and use of Reference Sites, including the information, materials, products, and services on or available through Reference Sites is solely at your own risk.

Links to Other Sites

The Sites may include hyperlinks to sites maintained or controlled by others. Neither knowledge.tt nor the Participating Institutions are responsible for nor do they routinely screen, approve, review or endorse the contents of or use of any of the products or services that may be offered at these sites.

Termination Rights

You agree that each of knowledge.tt and the Participating Institutions, in their sole discretion, may terminate your use of the Site or your participation in it thereof, for any reason or no reason and that none of the knowledge.tt Parties shall have any liability to you for any such action. You further acknowledge that for the purpose of any knowledge.tt course your sole relationship with knowledge.tt and the Participating Institution is as defined in these Terms of Use; for the avoidance of doubt, you do not have student status at any Participating Institution through a knowledge.tt course and you are not entitled to any grievance or other resolution process for student disputes at any Participating Institution. You further agree that knowledge.tt has the right to cancel, delay, reschedule or alter the format of any Online Course at any time, and that none of the knowledge.tt Parties shall have any liability to you for any such action. If you no longer desire to participate in the Site, you may terminate your participation therein upon notice to knowledge.tt.
